Information we collect

OnlineFaxReviews.com is a static website. We do not require user accounts or collect personal information through forms. We do not keep a separate site-account or consent database. If you accept analytics, Google processes optional visitor and event data for our reports.

Manage cookie preferences

Google Analytics stays blocked until you accept analytics. Choose Reject optional to keep it off or Manage cookie preferences to select your settings. You can use the whole site without analytics. The footer link reopens these choices when JavaScript is available; without JavaScript, analytics does not run.

If you save your preferences, an ofr_consent cookie remembers this browser’s choice for up to 182 days. It contains the choice, notice version, timestamps, language and a randomly generated record ID. This site does not send the record to an analytics service or store it in a database. Closing without saving leaves your current choice unchanged and does not create a new preference cookie. To remove a saved preference, clear this site’s cookies in your browser.

To withdraw, reopen the settings and choose Reject optional. This stops further analytics and removes its cookies from this site; it cannot recall information already sent to Google. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps analytics blocked even if you previously accepted it. We ask again when your saved choice expires or a changed notice requires a new choice. An older saved choice does not authorize newly introduced optional tracking.

Optional Google Analytics

If you accept, Google Analytics helps us understand visits, engagement and selected clicks to reviews or providers. These clicks indicate interest, not completed purchases. Google receives page and event information, cookie identifiers and ordinary browser, device and request information needed to provide Analytics.

Our events use the page's public address and title, provider names as short identifiers, and link placement. We strip query strings and fragments from the page address and reduce external referrers to their website origin. We do not send fax contents, contact details or provider-link destinations as event parameters. Enhanced measurement, Google signals and advertising features are off. Optional Google data sharing is off; Google still processes the data needed to provide Analytics.

Analytics uses _ga and a stream-specific _ga_… cookie on this website. Their lifetime is limited to the remaining time in your saved choice, up to 182 days. Detailed user and event data in our live properties is set to 14 months without resetting retention on new activity. Standard aggregated reports are not covered by that setting. Isolated testing uses a shorter, two-month retention period.

Display preferences

Choosing light or dark mode saves a theme setting in this browser’s local storage. It lets the site remember your display choice on later visits. The setting has no automatic expiry; you can change it with the theme button or remove it by clearing this site’s browser storage.

Provider links

When you click a provider link, you are redirected to the fax service provider's website. That provider may collect data according to their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any service you sign up for.

Third-party services

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of their hosting service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
