Fax.Plus Review 2026
Fax.Plus
Best ValueStarting at
$6.99/mo
Verdict: The best value option for light faxing — $6.99 for 200 pages with a modern interface, mobile app, and Sign.Plus integration. HIPAA requires Enterprise.
Best for: Budget-conscious users and small businesses wanting a modern, full-featured fax service
Overview
Fax.Plus is a Swiss-based online fax service that stands out for its modern design, competitive pricing, and a feature set that punches above its weight class. At $6.99/month for 200 pages, it’s the most affordable paid option among the major providers, making it a strong value for light, non-HIPAA faxing.
The important caveat: HIPAA compliance is not included on the $6.99 Basic plan. Fax.Plus offers HIPAA compliance and a Business Associate Agreement only on Enterprise, which starts at $79.99/user/month.
Sending and Receiving Faxes
The web interface is the cleanest and most modern of any service we tested. Sending a fax is intuitive: upload your document, enter the number, and send. The dashboard shows clear delivery status tracking.
Email-to-fax is supported and works reliably. Received faxes come via email notification with a link to the secure portal (they can also be configured as direct PDF attachments).
Mobile Experience
The Fax.Plus mobile app is excellent — arguably the best in the category. It includes document scanning with edge detection, image enhancement, and the full send/receive workflow. Available on iOS and Android.
HIPAA and Sign.Plus Integration
Fax.Plus can support e-signature workflows through Sign.Plus integration on paid tiers. That is useful if your team prepares documents for signature before sending them by fax, but it should be understood as an integration with Alohi’s separate e-signature product rather than a bundled Basic-plan e-signature suite.
HIPAA is a different story. Fax.Plus does offer HIPAA compliance and a BAA, but only on Enterprise at $79.99/user/month. Medical practices, legal teams handling protected records, and other regulated workflows should budget for Enterprise instead of assuming the entry plan is compliant.
The Free Tier
Fax.Plus offers 10 free pages total (not monthly) to try the service. It’s enough to verify it works for you, but not a sustainable free plan.
Who Should Choose Fax.Plus?
Fax.Plus is our “Best Value” pick for light users who want the lowest paid entry price without settling for an outdated interface. Choose it if $6.99/month for 200 pages, a polished mobile app, email-to-fax, and Sign.Plus integration matter more than number porting or HIPAA on the entry tier.
