Receiving is straightforward. Incoming faxes arrive as PDF attachments in your email inbox and are also viewable in the web portal.

The eFax mobile app is available on both iOS and Android. It handles the basics — viewing received faxes, sending from your phone’s camera or photo library — but lacks features like document scanning optimization that you’ll find in Fax.Plus.

Who Should Choose eFax?

eFax makes sense if you need a specific local or toll-free number in a less common area code, or if you rely heavily on international faxing. For standard domestic faxing, newer services like Fax.Plus or RingCentral offer more pages for less money.
